Statement of Requirements for Pool Maintenance and Cleaning Service

Pool maintenance services in AERF (Ban Watnak, Sisattanak district, Vientiane)

  • Weekdays from 8:30am to 04:00pm, (Monday to Friday), including public holidays for 6.5 hours/day. A one hour lunch break (12:00noon to 01:00pm).
  • Weekends from 8:30am to 11:00pm, (Saturday and Sunday), including public holidays for 2.5 hours/day
  • At least one pool officer each day.

Work Details

  • Clean the surface of the pool daily
  • Clean the pool ladders daily
  • Test pool water pH, salt, and chlorine levels daily
  • Add chemicals as appropriate to maintain the pool
  • Clean swimming pool using Australian standard equipment
  • Maintain filters, do back wash, and check pumps according to established procedures (daily)
  • Prepare, document and maintain administrative records regarding chlorine, pH levels, time sheets, and material supplies
  • Clean and maintain the pool to a safe and sanitary standard
  • Brush and vacuum pool; scrub pool walls/tiles regularly
  • Maintain pool equipment and chemical stock levels in storage room
  • Do not take any pool items out of the AERF before permission from the Embassy Management
  • Clean the pool surrounds by sweeping and using the high-water pressure hose
  • Clean the Sala area including fans and furniture surrounding the pool
  • Water the potted plants surrounding the pool
  • Clean BBQ area
  • Assist the embassy property team and events support officer in preparing the venue if there is an event during work hours.
  • Turn on and off the pool pumps each day
  • Pool pumps must be turned on at least 8 hours/day
