One of its notable offerings is the Smart Kid Savers education program, which teaches children in the capital of Vientiane about basic financial concepts, and sets them up with real savings accounts to deposit and withdraw money, with parental authorization. |

Lao/Australian fishway research This film features Australian and Lao fisheries researchers who are collaborating in research on fish way technology. Fishways are channels built to allow fish to migrate upstream for spawning and nurturing of young fish. The film features the Narrandera Fisheries Centre and work in Borikhamxay province in Lao PDR. The research has been funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). Partner agencies include the National University of Laos, Lao Living Aquatic Resources Research Centre, Department of Primary Industries NSW, Charles Sturt University and Australasian Fish Passage Services |
