Human Resources and Passports Manager

The Australian Embassy has a vacancy for the position of Human Resource and Passports Manager. The person we seek must have an ability to work independently and as part of a small team, be flexible and have the capacity to operate within a regulatory environment.

Applicants must be fluent in English and Lao and possess proven written and oral communication skills. You will need to have very good interpersonal and liaison skills and the ability to communicate effectively, sometimes with difficult clients. The successful applicant should have well-developed organisational skills, experience working in an office environment and/or be a university graduate and be computer literate. You will have initiative, be able to prioritise your work, meet deadlines and work well in a team situation with limited supervision.

Applications MUST include a supporting statement addressing each selection criterion, which clearly demonstrates the applicant’s claims against that criterion. Applications not addressing the selection criteria will not be considered. Application must be submitted in writing by 5pm Friday 16 September 2011.
