SELECTION CRITERIA
Title: Assistant Country Manager, Lao PDR, Cambodia, Burma and Thailand
1. Higher Education/Bachelor Degree Business Administration or relevant field
2. At least 5 years relevant professional experience
3. Sound communication, representational and interpersonal skills in both region and international contexts; ability to problem solve with sensitivity to cultural differences
4. Demonstrated ability to undertake a range of administrative tasks and use initiative, prioritise and work within tight deadlines
5. Ability to work as a team in a small office, including working with limited supervision
6. Evidence of familiarity with or the ability to quickly acquire working knowledge of relevant, Government ministries and agencies and administrative processes in the region
7. Liaise with existing partners (ministries, departments, academic and research institutions, NGOs)
8. Good keyboard and word processing skills and experience with computer-based management information systems
9. Fluent in written and spoken English and Lao. Knowledge of languages in the region (Burmese, Khmer, or Vietnamese) would be of added advantage
10. Valid Lao drivers licence
