The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) Laos Country Office has teamed up with the National Library of Laos to help increase the accessibility of its reports, periodical magazines and results of academic research conducted across the globe. ACIAR’s publications will now be available in hard copy at the National Library for interested people and organisations to use. ACIAR is delivering an in-depth research program into agricultural issues facing Lao PDR, with a focus on improving agricultural production systems and market linkages as well as smallholder farmer income. Australian Ambassador, John Williams received a formal certificate of appreciation from the Director of the National Library of Laos Mrs. Khanthamaly Yangnouvong on 25th September 2015 for this commitment to share vital academic information.
